Connect WiFi up to a mile?
Well not anytime soon but Ranveer Chandra member of the Networking Research Group at Microsoft Research behind the project White-Fi think it's possible. How? By accessing the internet over unused portions of TV spectrum researcher hope it could provide good long-range connectivity in rural areas, and help fill in gaps in city networks. Read More
