Why uncle Sam wants your brain?

• drugs that make soldiers want to fight
• neurological imaging has made it possible to see what people are thinking and whether they're lying
• drugs already allowing soldiers to stay awake and alert for days at a time
• brain-altering drugs in widespread use among civilians diagnosed with mental and behavioral problems
• drug giving soldiers a superhuman strength and awareness
• drug can be designed to increase an ability, a drug can also be designed to destroy it
• if we can alter the brain, why not control it?
